We will be able to see the first mountain of Everest region i.e. Kusum Khangkaru (6367m).Over night stay at Monjo.

Altogether it takes 6-7 hrs to reach Namche Bazaar from Phakding. On the way we would be able to observe several villages, rivers, forests, and amazing mountain views [Mt. Thamserku (6608m), Mt. Everest (8848m) ].  This will be the first view of Mt. Everest during our trek.

After breakfast we will be heading towards Everest View hotel  and on the way we will be going to National park headquarter from where we can see the panoromic view of Mt. Everest , Mt. Lhotse ,Mt.Nupse, Mt. Amabdlam Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Thauche , Mt. Kyangde etc. From the Everest view hotel also we will be seeing the same view.

We start our walk to our next destination i.e. Thengboche immediately after breakfast. It takes around 5-6 hrs to reach there. Thengboche is home to the region’s largest monastery, a destination for monks of all ages throughout the country to practice and study Buddhism. The public is invited to witness their puja ceremonies, where they chant prayers and perform rituals inside the ornately decorated gompas.

Very early wakeup call and visit the impressive morning puja in Thengboche Monastery. Breakfast after the puja and start today’s trek to Pangboche. Pangboche, at 3.985m is the highest permanent settlement on the approach to Everest and in the upper village there is a gompa (monastery) founded by the lama Sange Dorje. Pangboche offers great views on what many people consider as the most beautiful moutainpeak in the Himalayas, Mount Ama Dablam. We continue to walk upto Dingboche (4400m). Altogether it takes around 5-6 hrs to reach Dingboche.

We spend a day at Dingboche (4410m) to continue our acclimatisation. Those adapting well to the altitude can climb Nangkartshang Peak at 5100m for great views of Chalotse, Tawoche and Mount Ama Dablam. Or we can go to Chhukum valley.

Back on the trek again, the trail from Dingboche ascends, emerging onto the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier from where we have a beautiful panorama of the peaks lying on the Nepal-Tibet border. The trail then eases off as we follow the valley to Lobuche (4.900m) a tiny hamlet with a few teahouses. The sunset on Nuptse is not to be missed. Altogether  it is a trek about 5-6 hrs till Lobuche from Dingboche.

Another long day and again we leave very early. Trekking across a glacier, the trail winds up and down through fascinating icy series of land known as Everest Base Camp, where, usually in spring, we may see some of the expedition teams as they prepare to climb the mountain. From the Base Camp we get fantastic close up views of the Khumbu Ice Fall and we can appreciate just how difficult it is to negotiate a route through the huge blocks of ice. We descend from the Base Camp to Gorak Shep and night stay in Gorak shep.

Early in the morning we will be heading to the Kalapathar. It takes around 2 hrs to the top of the Kalapathar. It is one of the highest point of our trekking from where we can see the view of sun rise and the fascinating view of the mountains ( Mt. Everest , Mt. Lhotse , Mt. Nupse, Mt. Pumo Ri ,Mt. Makalu and much more ). Then we head back to Gorak Shep and after breakfast we start our trek to Pheriche. It taks altogether 6-7 hrs from Gorak shep to Phriche.

After the breakfast, we start our trek down to Namche Bazar. It takes around 6-7 hrs to reach Namche Bazar from Pheriche.

Finally this is the last day of our trek. As such, we will be heading to Lukla after breakfast. It will take around 6-7 hrs to reach Lukla from Namche Bazar.
